This is version that fixed the problem from you. I added threat comment, fixed JS loading. The gallery can display more than 10, maybe I will add option to allow user to set the number of photo.

Hello,
Great theme. I like the ability to adapt the images, however I cant get the flickr to work on my site. I put in my flickr link and the pictures (that are originally flowers) have gone black. How can I fix this? It keeps reoccuring and I’ve been told its a problem with the theme.
I appreciate the help!
Julie
Hello
Love your theme! Finally an easy way to display flickr-pictures without too much hassle.
So far it looks like its displaying one picture, while at the same time saying there are 20 photos. Should I be able to navigate between those 20 photos on the blogpage? When I click the photo I’m redirected to my flickr-page.
Sorry if its a stupid question, but I’m pretty new to this.
Our web address is matandclare.com we can’t seem to get Picasa to work. Was hoping maybe you could help us and let me know whats wrong.
Mathew,
Checked out your site. Firebug gave me this error.
$(“”) is null
http://www.matandclare.com/wp-content/themes/hope/simplegallery.js?ver=2.8.4
Line 188
This is because you have lightbox and prototype enabled. Patrick’s theme simple gallery uses jquery there is a namespacing conflict. Disable prototype and lightbox plugins and try again.
Excuse me, I have used the theme, but it seems that there’re some mistakes,the”simplegallery.js” didn’t work, can you help me to check it?My homepage:http://whiteflying.yo2.cn
hi there, I checked your blog. Everything is fine but did you fill in your flick feed url or leave it blank? I found that your blog can not grab the image link. Please check your feed url in Theme Setting.
Hi,
My installs of the Hope theme are displaying correctly in Firefox but the page tabs in the header for About and Blog are missing in ie. Is there a fix for this or am i doing something else wrong? thanks wjwjr
Having similar problems. Theme is beautiful in Firefox, has a number of problems in IE7. About and Blog tabs disappear, gradients don’t display correctly, flickr feed loads a much lower quality picture.
Any ideas?
Patrick,
I have a small question. In widget bar 1, there appears to be a blank widget that isn’t in my widget control panel. What is this for, if anything?
Thanks,
Tom
I upgraded to HoPE 2.5 and it’s gone.
Thanks!

Hi – trying to use your hoPe theme
looks pretty cool
only a couple of things: it seems that on Flickr the image array doesn’t get initalised properly
I’m using it on a dutch Flickr account, and the last comma it doesn’t like.
I’ve fixed this if you want I can email you the updated functions.php script
Also – on IE the background pic (default.jpg) for some reason goes below the rotating pictures. Lastly what I’ve seen is that the gradient you are using stops halfway, I’ve incremented some pics there as well
I tried using Hope 2.0 (currently using 1.2) and still had the same issues.
regards
hendrik
Hi hendrik, I am happy to received your fixed functions.php. Please email to to me at mypatricks[at]gmail.com thanks a lot.
The fix works. Thank you. I think it would be great if you could allow the user to set the number of photos. It would also be good if when the image is clicked on that the user does not go away from your blog site, or if Flickr could open in a new window.
I really am liking the template though. Thank you very much.
